Alonso's final lap in Malaysia . . .

. . . and the show goes on!

For the next race we're going to be watching a LIVE broadcast from China this Saturday - pre-race at 11:30pm - at San Francisco at Zeke's Diamond Bar.  (RSVP)  This event will fill up the venue and seats go quickly - (video from the Australian GP - packed!) so join us early for racing from Shanghai with a pint of your favorite brew on tap.  Food is served on the weekends at Zeke's, and we're working with their staff on a kitchen closing time.

Vettel finishes and comes out on top . . .

. . .and McLaren backs off their plans for an adjustable ride height for their cars.

Renault and Russia's first F1 driver Petrov kept things interesting for Lewis  . . .

. . . and Paul Henri was there to share all the details:

Thanks again to our friend Paul-Henri Cahier for these great images from the
racing in Malaysia two weekends ago - we'll be raffling the bottom three during the races this Saturday night thanks to Terry Griffin of Griffin Motorwerke.

To keep up to date with the latest from Paul-Henri, you can find The Cahier Archive on Facebook - where he's just posted several classic and personal photographs - thank you again for supporting our sponsors.

In addition to the support we've received from Paul-Henri and Terry, we've been lucky to connect with local F1 enthusiasts and professionals, and recently a small gathering took place at Force India Formula 1 founder Vijay Mallya's private car collection located in the Bay Area.  Curated by Malcolm Page, the collection allowed a few of our members to get a close look at some very important cars, and it is hoped that in the future group visits will take place in a purpose-built museum not far from the Golden Gate bridge.

As this museum project moves along on the wheels of public planning and local politics, you're invited to join a group on Facebook to register your support for a more permanent home for this impressive collection - photos from the collection and a link to the group are available here.  A special thanks again to Malcolm for his time and interest in local Formula 1 groups.  We have been working on more visits to collections and events of interest - so stay tuned, and look forward to seeing you at the races!

Missing Formula 1?  We are!  Great news from the world of racing has been brewing in the past few weeks on short-lived USGP venue, a new British GP circuit, word of a new American F1 team in the works, and what else?  Turbos, of course!

Since China, teams have been busy with updates to drivers and cars:

Michael gets a longer wheelbase for Spain -

while Red Bull claims the RB6 will be much faster . . .

. . . by a full three tenths this weekend.

Also, we've been tinkering with our website a little in the meantime - and we'd like to know what you think!  As a side project, there's a growing group on Facebook for F1 supporters in America - take a look and share your thoughts with F1 fans and racing professionals.

Thanks again to our friend Paul-Henri Cahier for these great images - due to time constraints last race we'll be raffling photos from Malaysia this weekend, again thanks to Terry Griffin of Griffin Motorwerke.

To keep up to date with the latest from Paul-Henri, you can find The Cahier Archive on Facebook - thank you again for supporting our sponsors and we look forward to seeing you at the races!
