About Us

What's this group about? What do you do?

It's about the racing. We're more than 650 Formula 1 fans from over 40 countries who regularly gather each season to watch F1 together. It's rare in the United States to find so many fans in one place who all share a passion for Formula 1. Based in San Francisco in beautiful Northern California, we've local members who come from as far away as Santa Cruz and Sacramento to join us for race weekends and local events. Visitors to San Francisco are always welcome and have come from all over Asia, Europe, Australia, Brazil, and the United States to join us when they're in town.

Why Formula 1?

Every one of us has something we love about racing, and we all enjoy watching, talking about, and sharing our passion for Formula 1. Together, the cars, teams, drivers, politics, sounds, and sights all make F1 a great show. In a country where the word 'racing' conjures banked ovals and stock cars in most people's minds, we are proud to be part of a global racing audience that's equal to or greater than the entire US population in size on race weekends.

What's this website for?

This website is a platform for the passion we share for F1, and we believe that given an equal chance at meeting other kinds of racing fans, we choose to share our interest, knowledge and enthusiasm for a sport where rules, designs, and cars move the fastest of any racing series on the planet. You've found a place that brings together news, information, resources, and most importantly, people, who share and enjoy the sport. By uniting this community, we're able to bring our love of racing, our personal and, in some cases, professional experience to a place where all have an opportunity to share and contribute to each other's understanding and enjoyment of the sport.

We regularly announce our viewing parties on this website, and provide users with a free account they may access to RSVP, share photos, forum posts and catch up on the latest headlines in the sport. If you've got a photo to share from a race, feel free to email it to our flickr account and visitors will be sure to see it posted.

How do I get in touch with the group? Drop us a line!

In the meantime, we'll see you at the races!
